Trillium is our favorite doe, being affectionate and also calming in her quiet demeanor.  Her production was very light as a first freshener, but she had a single doe.  On the other hand, her lactation was very steady and long-lived.  This is a doe who could be milked through the winter very easily.  Her udder is perfect (aside from being a bit small), with great attachment, straight teats with large orifices and very soft skin.  We are looking for more capacity in 2012.

Ostara has very nice udder attachment and LARGE easy-to-milk teats.  She is a consistent producer and stands very still to be hand milked.  Her personality is anything but ordinary, mischievous and affectionate she wants to be number one.  She is a wonderful mother and would make a great family milker for a first-time goat owner.

Louise has wonderfully long, soft, and easily expressing teats from her granddam NC PromisedLand Mizi.  She also looks just like her half-sister Constance, who is our best milker.  Louise doesn't have the same capacity as some of our other gals.  Sold.

Thelma has plump, long easily expressing teats and good capacity.  She is also a bit shy and quiet, but very affectionate and loves a good scratch.  She has matured this season and is relaxed for milking.  Sold.

This awesome little doe delivered our biggest kid of the season, which was impressive for a first freshener.  She is already doing remarkably well on the milk stand! Sold.

This is my daughter's snow princess.  She is personality personified.  I found this kid laying flat on her back when she was a few weeks old.  It was such a weird thing to see in a goat that I checked for her heartbeat.  She was sleeping in the style of Snow White.  Curious, full of spunk and sass, this girl doesn't know she's a goat.  It's a tough cut to make "milker" status at Capsand Creamery.  We'll see how she does next season.

"Cassie" is a very tall, slender and physically correct doe.  Her teats are generous and plumb with large orifices for easy expression.  Her capacity is less than expected, but that should improve at her second freshening.  She is very calm and patient on the milkstand.
